Why will cedar make them sick? I've used Cedar shavings in my stalls
before along with the pine shavings. I've done it in the summer to
help keep down the bugs and flies and have never had a problem with it
and it smelled great. It's more expensive than pine (which is why I
use pine and just sprinkle in some cedar shavings.) They sell it in
TSC right along with the pine.
I know you should never use Black Walnut because it will cause
laminitis.
Is there a source where we can check this?
