As everybody here knows my Family & i own [over 40 yrs] the largest
carriage horse fleet in NYC,and our own stable,well yesterday,as
occasionally I do,I looked at the petya website.Again they were
slandering the horse drawn carriage trade,when I went to answer
their blog,I discoverd they ''blocked'' me.Even though I realize
they are a extreme group,its sad that they at least wouldn't post 1
opposition blog.Yesterday a carriage horse colied and passed at a
neighboring stable,of course these extremists when they found
out,the owner of the horse must notify the Health Dept when a horse
passes,[and its known there is a older woman who works for the
city,who runs a coalition org against horses]so she gets the news
right away.A handful of radicals ran to that stable with candles
and ''ban horse drawn carriage '' signs.Like that made a difference!
Today,its business as usual,horses get sick and horses die,they
never seem to have the ''right '' to do that.A Vet was attending and
treating that horse all day and the owner spent a fortune on vet
bills,he was extremly distraught to have lost his horse,the last
thing he needed was to be attacked at his own stable and be accused
of mistreatment when everything possible was done to try to make his
horse well.I am posting this,cause we all love and respect our
animals,just please beware their is a huge difference between animal
welfare and animal rights.
