FureverPets Updated Rules

All members who participate on FureverPets are expected to follow and abide by the following rules. By participating on FureverPets you agree to the following rules:
RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR: We expect all members to behave as adults and in a reasonable manner when posting to FureverPets. In the past we have let some things slide that have been downright disrespectful, mean-spirited and unreasonable. While we respect debates and sometimes heated discussions regarding certain topics, we ask that posters do not personally attack or insult any other member.
Personal attacks and/or posting of slanderous information will not be permitted on FureverPets. While we cannot validate all the information posted on FureverPets, any information posted that is deemed overwhelmingly false and/or slanderous willbe removed without notice.
All postings made by users of FureverPets are the statements and opinions of each individual user and do not necessarily reflect the views of the owner and/or moderators of FureverPets.
POSTING OF INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL:
By posting on FureverPets, you agree that you will not post: abusive, harassing, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, racist, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate applicable laws. Such postings will be removed and may result in a permanent account ban.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Please don't post any personal or private information on FureverPets that is about anyone other than yourself. This includes, but is not limited to: Names of people who are not in public office, local people or entities in the news, phone numbers, home addresses and e-mail addresses. If you find it necessary to notify the owner and/or moderators with this information, please do so by PRIVATE e-mail to Reasba69@aol.
Information that is publicly available may be posted under most circumstances. Please note that just because a person is in the news does not make it acceptable to post personal information about that person. The moderators will have the final ruling as to what we feel is inappropriate for FureverPets and will remove any posting on FureverPets which we feel is inaccurate, unfair, untrue or inappropriate about a particular person or entity.
SPAM:
There will be no spamming on FureverPets. Website links to spam sites are not allowed. Any message posted that leads to a spam site will be deleted. Failure to abide by this rule will result in an immediate account termination.
ADVERTISING:
Personal advertising for your business must be approved by the owner and/or moderators of FureverPets before posting anywhere on the forums. Advertisements will be deleted if they are posted without first contacting the owners and/or moderators of FureverPets. If you are interested in posting an advertisement for your business, please contact the owner and/or moderators for approval and provide a copy of the advertisement you wish to post.
You may, however, post within your message links to legitimate websites such as pet food or pet supply websites or legitimate pet sites a member might recommend.
EXTERNAL LINKS:
Any link to other websites posted in any message must be considered a PG rated site. A link pointing to an illegal or adult oriented site or any other inappropriate site will be deleted and may result in account termination.
POSTING COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL:
When posting copyrighted material of any sort (including news articles) you must provide the source and a link to the URL if the copyrighted material is available online. The website address and author information needs to be included in the body of your message.
VIOLATING THE RULES:
Failure to abide by the rules of FureverPets may result in account suspension and lead to a permanent ban if the behaviour continues. We have been lenient in the past about issuing warnings and banning members however, we will be tougher on enforcement in the future, especially regarding personal attacks and insults.
Generally, you will receive limited warnings before a permanent ban takes place but each punishment may be different depending on what the situation involved.
FureverPets reserves the right to edit, move, or delete any posting without notice. FureverPets also reserves the right to suspend or ban any member for violating any one of the FureverPets rules.
FureverPets takes all issues on a case by case basis and will edit, delete, or act on a message depending on the content of the posting. All information posted is subject to deletion. Decisions will be made by the moderators on a case by case basis to resolve any issues. All decisions by the owner and/or moderators is final.
All decisions on FureverPets made by the owner and/or moderators are final. Arguing and disrespecting FureverPets owner or moderators will not be tolerated and may result in a permanent membership ban.
While the owner and moderators of FureverPets make every effort to monitor the board as much as possible, we are not always available immediately to edit or delete a posting. Posts that violate the rules will be removed as quickly as possible, however the information may be posted for a certain amount of time until a moderator is available to remove it.
