S/HE MUST ALSO HAVE A COLLAR, WHICH MUST BE LABELED WITH THE DOG'S NAME, THE NAME AND CONTACT INFO OF THE SENDER, AND THE NAME AND CONTACT INFO OF THE RECEIVING RESCUE. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE. DO NOT SEND A DOG ON THE TRANSPORT WITHOUT AN APPROPRIATELY LABELED COLLAR AND A PROPERLY LABELED ENVELOPE WITH THAT DOG'S (AND ONLY THAT DOG'S) PAPERWORK. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECEIVING RESCUE TO WORK TOGETHER WITH THE SENDING SHELTER AND/OR BOARDING FACILITY TO MAKE SURE THIS HAS BEEN DONE PRIOR TO TRANSPORT.

15-16) Francie and Tiny Tina, Dachshund/Sheltie mixes, UTD, to be spayed by rescue. NOTE: These dogs were in the shelter for a year and have not been outside the building in all that time. The shelter staff worked with them extensively, and they are no longer as near-feral as when they came in, but they can still be frightened with strangers. Please take extreme care that they don't run off. These dogs are bonded to each other, so if they can ride in the same crate, that would be wonderful.
