I wish I knew what triggered it Kathleen I sure don't. He has had this cough on and off - so has everyone else - then wham.
I am glad that your feeling better out in the fresh country air - and I am glad you were able to figure out your triggers. My mom was alergic to everything literally. She has a poodle as they are hypo alergenic but can't even touch the horses :>(
or breaks out terribly then has an attack.

Prayers on the way, Christy. I know exactly what Rick experienced because I had it happen several times in the past - and it is terrifying. I was on 7 meds for asthma. Since I quit work and moved here (away from perfumes and cigarette smoke), I was able to gradually eliminate all the meds. The last check up my doctor was amazed. I have to keep an emergency inhaler just in case (I still react to perfumes and cigarette smells) but because I can liomit my exposure I no longer get rushed to the emergency room.Does Rick know what his triggers are?Kathleen

Well last night he had a horrible reaction to a cough that just wouldn't stop and his blood pressure went through the roof and we had to call the ambulance. They took his vitals and put him right in the ambulance to the hospital. What an experience he felt like he was drowning but without the water.
