Morning all freecyclers,
i have a bit of a problem that i wonder if anyone can help me with? My
dog is due to have puppies within the next week or two and it is a bit
cold where she will be having them. I have a proper puppy cage for mum
and babies and a plastic bed for them but i was wondering if anyone had
any polystyrene sheets or tiles to line the bottom as to keep the cold
from coming up through the bottom. I was also thinking to wrap some
polystyrene round the cage to keep them nice and snug. They are
absolutely tiny when born as they are miniature yorkshire terriers, i
lost 2 pups out of her 1st litter and i was absolutely terrified to
think that it might have been through the cold. I hope someone can help
me out or if anyone has any other good ideas or advice would be very
much appreciated. Also any old blankets etc would be very grateful. As
she ruins quite a few in the first few weeks.
Many thanks in advance.
Hayley
